GHIKA: Journey from West to East

In 1957, Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghika received an invitation to participate in an international educational exchange program sponsored by the United States government. Accepting the invitation, Ghika arrived in Washington in April 1958, from where he embarked on a months-long journey that would become a milestone in his painting career. New York, Buffalo, Arizona, San Francisco, Mexico, and Hawaii were among the destinations of this remarkable trip.

I was responsible for the creation of the interactive audiovisual application featuring the artist and his wife as the central characters, guiding visitors through this fascinating journey through animation, texts, and drawings. The application is now part of the permanent collection of the Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghika Gallery.
