Το animation μικρού μήκους ‘Τα ψάρια της Αστυπάλαιας’ δημιουργήθηκε από τους μαθητές των Δ, Ε και ΣΤ τάξεων του Δημοτικού Σχολείου Αστυπάλαιας, , κατά τη διάρκεια του εργαστηρίου κινούμενης εικόνας στα πλαίσια του 2ου Φεστιβάλ Παιδικού Βιβλίου ΤΑ ΒΙΒΛΙΑ ΠΑΙΖΕΙ (Ιούνιος 2019).

The short animated film ‘ The Fish of Astypalaia’ created by the students of the local primary school in Astypalaia during a 5 day animation workshop. The animation workshop was curated and produced by the 2nd Children’s Book Festival.

Animatic Workshop at Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.

A five day workshop dedicated to all stages of making an animated short film. The participants wrote a story, created a storyborard and filmed their animatic.

 

 

 

A short animated video created during a creative workshop for teenagers, during Animasyros 11, in September 2018, in Syros island, Greece with the support of the Municipality of Syros – Hermoupolis. Syros’ St. George Cemetery is a resting place for the people of the island.

Through pixilation and stop-motion techniques the participants created and unfolded a story with mythical and actual characters, referencing the history of the island, as it is reflected in the archaeological site of the cemetery, retellilg the story of their ancestors.

Οι περιπέτειες μιας λογίας ρέγγας, όπως διαμορφώθηκε από τον Κωνσταντίνο Δέδε, πραγματεύεται το πολύπλοκο πρόβλημα της προσφυγιάς, του ξεριζωμού, της διαφορετικότητας.

An exhibition inspired solely by non-visual references of the city of Athens curated by double-decker | April – June 2015

A collaboration with Double Decker to devise a series of workshops for children as part of the education programme accompanying the Strange Cities: Athens exhibition. Young people were supported in exploring their own perceptions and story-telling abilities in working with others to make an animated film about Athens.

PCAI Junior presents LAS PTINAS

Believing that environmental consciousness should be cultivated at an early age, Polyeco Contemporary Art Initiative has designed an innovative educational program for schools in Greece and abroad. PCAI Junior, created in the summer of 2017, constitutes an educational platform that enables students to understand critical, ecological issues that affect their place of residence. In 2017, the first PCAI Junior program took place at Geitonas School in Voula; an area which is part of the Kesariani Forest and it is considered protected due to its natural wealth. The forest contains an ecosystem of 250 animal species and hosts 98 different types of migratory birds that use the place to rest before traveling to Africa. This fact has actually been the source of inspiration for the original animated video Las Ptinas (8’45”) created by the 5th Elementary Class pupils and the experienced PCAI educational team.
