A short animated video created during a creative workshop for teenagers, during Animasyros 11, in September 2018, in Syros island, Greece with the support of the Municipality of Syros – Hermoupolis. Syros’ St. George Cemetery is a resting place for the people of the island.
Through pixilation and stop-motion techniques the participants created and unfolded a story with mythical and actual characters, referencing the history of the island, as it is reflected in the archaeological site of the cemetery, retellilg the story of their ancestors.
